      - 10/16/2013 - I had a situation with this company's tow service. I live in Santa Rosa and work in Ukiah. On this day I received a call at work that my daughter was throwing up and finding blood in her vomit. I left work and rushed 65 miles home to bring her to the hospital. Once I got I home I parked out front and rushed upstairs to assist my daughter to the car and bring her to the hospital, but when I came back my car had been towed. I was maybe 3 minutes total time inside. I then called the tow service and the driver laughed at my situation and said it would cost over $300 to get my car back tonight and hung up on me. I then spent the remainder of the night and part of the following day at the hospital. When I called to speak with a manager, I got the same attitude that I had received from the driver with no kind of compassion for the situation. I'm probably going to have to try and talk to the owner and if that fails I will have to contact the BBB and local papers to spread the word about code of ethics this business is operating under. I'm surprised that this is legal....

Wonderful! They are everything they claim to be in their famous ads..caring, personable, interested and professional. A car wreck or damaged auto can be traumatizing, inconvenient, expensive and more..a huge tornado that can just about tear your life apart. But at G& C the personnel, from the people at the Fron tDesk, to the mechanics who obviously know their stuff, the paint crew, and yes, even the owners..especially the owners who are very visible and present, make you feel like your car is the only one in the shop and that you are the most important customer..and to make every customer feel that way is no accident...it is the commitment of caring, trained, professionals. At G&C you are treated like family, and don't have to fear being overcharged, or overrun by insurance assessors. And the results? Fantastic..you'll never know your car was damaged..inside or out. That's another HUGE plus...G&C is both an excellent body shop..and and has excellent mechanical repair service. Most insurance companies recommend them, so discounts may apply.
