I had a side view mirror replaced at Barton's about 2 years ago. The mirror was supposed to be painted the body color of black, but they ordered the wrong part. They polished it trying to make it match better but it looked terrible. I was then quoted a new price for a painted mirror, but balked and they painted it without an extra charge. Fast forward 2 years and the paint is coming off in huge chunks. I returned it and it was repainted as the paint had a lifetime warranty. They had my car for days and no one ever called to inform me that it was done. They usually correct their mistakes, but I would much rather take my car somewhere where they will get it right the first time.
