commentReparied my daughters LR2 after a bad accident, color match was horrific, did make an attempt to repair that and it's better and never installed one of the lower body mouldings/rocker trim and after a year of 'I'm waiting for the part from the dealer', we were told, AFTER the insurance company paid them in full (nearly $7,000) that they refuse to get her the part!
On my vintage car, they painted, rechromed, did electrical work and when car was 'ready' on day of pick up, many parts 'stolen' or missing and there was HUGE chips of paint off the hood and trunk. Was told by Rudy, 'we'll take care of it when you bring it back from your mechanic'. So now I did, and the paint now has major 4 to 5 inch pieces peeling off all over the car (exposed metal!) and told 'get your car out of here or pay $5,000. to repair our bad job, we're losing money on this'. I took it out today.
The owner has had many issues (I got an ear-full) about the past 2 partners/general managers who stole customers parts and embezzled money from the shop. Why is that my problem or all the other unhappy customers problems?
A real inside-job theft issue with valuable parts, a real huge issue with quality control, obviously and a REAL HUGE issue with their ethics!
I will now have to contact the BAR and an attorney to remedy my situations, not fair but they were given many opportunities to make this workout, I even offered to 'participate' in some of the cost even though I shouldn't have to, but their mentality and nasty response left me no alternatives!
