Save yourself a headache -

commentI was a customer of Tim Harrington's when he had his shop on S. Saunders Street in Raleigh, NC. He presented himself as a respectable business man and I needed some work done. I had planned to just take my vehicle to him for a routine oil change but right before I did, I started having a problem with the car not cranking. After playing the guessing game with me several times on what was wrong with my car (after I had already paid him 1,300 for parts) it took him over 2 months to finaly get my car to the point where it would crank. He supposedly installed a new fuel pump in August 2012. Well in December of 2012,(yes,4 months later) I started having the same issue with the car not cranking- Christmas Eve to be exact. I called Tim and he advised that he was out of town for the Holiday and would be back to day after Christmas and though he did not know what time, he would touch bases with me. Needless to say, he never called me back and has ignored several of my attempts to contact him. He also failed to mention in December that he had moved his business from Raleigh to Durham in November, a month before we spoke. Hind sight is 20/20 and I was trying to give him some business and guess what...he gave ME the business. I took my car to the place where I purchased it this last Thursday and it will be ready tomorrow. I have to pay somebody else to do the job that Tim should have done and it doesnt seem to phase him that his work is not right and he has gotten paid for it. Oh yeah, I also found some men's shoes and underwear in the trunk of my car when I got it back from him. I still can't figure it out what that is about. He probably thinks he got away with something but I intend to be vindicated. That was not right and I hope I saved at least 1 person a huge headache.
