Exactly what kind of body shop takes no pride in their ability to provide a professional job? It is obvious your body shop does not! Upon delivery, the interior of my semi truck was so coated in dust and dirt that it had to be professionally cleaned. Would you have appreciated someone filling your vehicle with dirt and dust and not care? Your “I don’t give a crap” attitude really tops the cake. I am really not sure how you stay in business, because I am positive I am not the only unsatisfied customer! As each day passes I become more enraged with the many details that have ended up costing not only the $5000 paid for the work preformed but the additional expense for what your body shop damaged! When we brought our semi truck in to be painted what we expected was far from the quality of the service for the finished job. If your shop wasn’t capable of such a job you should not have provided a service for which apparently you or perhaps your employees are not capable of performing. The paint on the sleeper has drips along the rivets. There are obvious marks from the plastic that became stuck on the wet paint in which you attempted to buff out. There are several areas with a rough finish from over spray across the top of the sleeper. The apparent attempt to repair a dent on the sleeper is obvious as you can see and feel the raised area where body putty was used to repair the area. Had the preparation to the entire truck been done correctly prior to painting, the finished product would have been flawless. Well the swirls from the buffing are still there and in the sun light you can still see the marks left from the plastic that had stuck to the wet paint. The specks of debris are evident in many areas. The paint job is not a total loss, but it’s far from being a professional job! Why would you cover wet paint with plastic??? Why would you apply paint with out prepping properly first? Unacceptable! For the dent in the drivers door, let see you told me it was from the door being opened to far by your employee making an indentation in the door when the door hit the breather. You also blamed it on the door straps. Well it’s never happened when we open the door? Hum, your employee made the dent and all you can tell me is sorry about your luck, but we are not repainting the door. Then you just walked away. Really! Very unprofessional! You should have offered to repair the dent and repaint the door. But you didn’t even care! The dent in the chrome breather, not sure which employee did this but it wasn’t there when we brought the truck in. New breather $1500! Apparently no one working at your establishment knows how to disconnect and reconnect a cb antenna either. Thank you for damaging the coax connected to the antenna. Had to buy a new one since the wiring was missing from the one that was on the truck when I left it with you! Somehow no one at your business cares if they damage the property that is left to be restored; the scratches on the interior driver’s door paneling weren’t there when we left the truck either. New door panel $350! The real kicker and the most upsetting would be the six dime size holes drilled across the top of the cab in an attempt to install the new sun visor. Exactly where did the rubber inserts come from, I know they weren’t provided with the sun visor. What about the water that comes into the cab from the holes? You guys think about that?? How long did you think the sun visor would last with only rubber inserts holding it on? The sun visor came with instructions; maybe you and your employees could not read and understand how to attach the sun visor? Then you shouldn’t have installed it without knowing what you were doing. When I picked up the truck I even pointed this out that it didn’t look like it was installed correctly. Again comes the I don’t give a crap attitude! Well that’s just how it is? Well this is not just how it is! I called the manufacturer and he told me over the phone how to install the sun visor. A simple phone call! When I saw what you and your employees had done I could not believe some one would drill holes and use rubber inserts to hold a visor on. Had you installed the visor correctly my semi cab would not now have 6 dime size holes drilled across the top of the cab. The brackets are made to line up with the rivet holes and there never should have been holes drilled into the cab for installation. Seriously to fix the holes requires they be filled and the cab repainted. Lucky for you it hasn’t rained before I discovered the holes in the cab. Wonder what would have been damaged when water would have ran down the interior of the cab into the control panel. Are you ready to pay for replacing the instruments and interior from water damage? I just can’t get over how unprofessional your body shop has treated me and damaged my equipment. The holes in my semi cab are so unjustified that I find myself seeking professional services to sue your establishment for the damages which you have caused above and beyond the paint job.
