I gave my car to Bobby Powell to make repairs to the front end and a/c cooling system as a result from a wreck. Mr. Powell told me that my car was to be finished within one week which turned into 9 weeks. I gave him a 500.00 deposit to start the work and he agreed to a total of 1000.00 to replace both headlight, both fenders, hood and bumper.he also agreed to put new parts on the vehicle and when my car was picked he had not replaced the old parts with new parts, they all were used parts.he also charged me an additional 325.00 to fix the cooling system(A/C)which required a new condenser. I noticed after the fact that he stole an extra antenna that was in my trunk and also discovered th st he stole the spare tire from the trunk which was revealed after my friend got a flat tire and was stranded at the gas station until help arrived. Overall he did good work but he is very unprofessional and trump up charges on vehicles unnecessarily. I do not recommend him to nobody because genius no good. He doesn't like to give receipts for work done in an effort to avoid paying taxes which is illegal. I am pursuing this matter via complaint to the Better Business Bureau (BBB)and to the attorney general's office for resolution.

very poor service, when i asked for a receipt owner would not give me one. he wanted me to pay cash up front and i asked why cant you fix first and i pay when your done? owner told me that my car was on his lot for 7 days and i would have to pay a storage fee even if he didnt do the work that needed to be done.the price he told me was 250 dollars just to be able to remove my car. while i was there other customers were complaining that he had their cars for 7months and they paid all fees that was asked f them.horrible service!
     d. armstrong - 1/23/2013 - I had a similar encounter with that guy! Very unprofessional! If you need work done to your car, go some where else. He wouldn't give me any type of documentation and i heard him whisper to another person "I can say I didn't get paid and they can't sue me."
     b. keys - 9/2/2013 - Bobby Powell is a liar and a cheat. He has had my truck for 9 months. He keeps adding things and making excuses about why he can't finish. I have already paid him in cash money for the work. The receipt he gave me is very vague on his work it just says pd cash and does not mention any work he has done. His work is good but his work ethics are not. He has taken a 7 day job and turned it into 9 months and has not finish yet. I will be going to the city to file charges against him just as others have done. He seems to lie to all his customers and then tries to make it look like its their fault cause "he knows how to run his business" so he says. I would not recommend this guy to anyone for anything. Stay away from this business!!!
