Had the worst experience at Platinum due to a douchebag named Brian. Biggest weasel ever. My car was in an accident (not my fault) and required $14K worth of repairs. The car wasn't worth much more than that so I was surprised that Geico agreed to fix it. Car was in the shop for 5 weeks. When it came out, there were several pieces that were not painted but were put back on the car. Besides that problem, I had other problems that were not fixed so I had to take the car back at least 5 times to get it right. Then, after driving it for two weeks back and forth to work on the tollway, I noticed a loud noise. When I took it back to Platinum, my representative Brian told me they couldn't hear the noise. I had to take it to him 3 different times to try and prove that there was something wrong. I even took my car to the Toyota dealer to run diagnostics. Finally, after much badgering and Brian telling me there was nothing they could do, I got him to take a road test with me and we went on the tollway where he heard the noise loud and clear. Turned out to be something wrong with the hub in the front drivers wheel. They had to replace it. This, after Brian had me in tears at one point saying there was nothing they could do. What kind of customer service is this? Horrible treatment, horrible experience, horrible people. A year later, I took my car on a road trip only to find out that the cruise control didnt work. When I took it in for repairs to the dealer, the dealer found out that Platinum never realigned the cruise control sensors so it had to go back to the dealer for an additional $2000. What ripoff people! If they had estimated the cruise control repair, the car would have been totalled out so they wouldn't have gotten the business. Oh, but they are sure to hand you a box of cookies when you come to pick up your car each time. They must have a bakery friend close by who can deliver dozens of cookies with all the unnecessary dropping off/picking up of senseless repairs they make people go through. TRUST ME WHEN I TELL YOU TO NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS RIP OFF PLACE.
