From the day I dropped off my husband's car for minor repairs to the day I picked it up it was an ordeal. The first thing I saw when I walked in the door was a man who appeared to be the owner, talking about the stupid insurance companies and stupid car owners and of stupid owners of other shops and even his own stupid crew who according to him are also lazy thieves. When he finally saw that he had a customer, he assured me that my repair would be quick and painless. But the reality was much more stressful. What was supposed to be a 4 day repair took 17 days. They charged my insurance company nearly a thousand dollars extra to replace trim pieces on panels that weren't even damaged and to paint unrelated areas. Painted nearly half the car even though the damage was only a front bumper and some scratches on a fender. And after all that painting, the scratches still showed... and half of my car was one shade of color and the other half was another shade! And it needed buffed, I think. The paint was rough or dirty or something. It was very irritating to witness such incompetence, especially since they were all, including the shop workers wearing short pants. They were all dressed for a picnic! I thought only little boys wore shorts, but they don't have to work. And apparently neither do body shops. At least not this one. I never saw anyone working in 4 visits to the shop, even though they promised me that my car was being repaired as quickly as possible. A few years ago this same shop did an excellent repair for me and it was done quickly and professionally. But I didn't see any of the old crew there this time and they were all just standing around talking. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your repair.
