Rate and Review Gerald Body Shop

I recently had my vehicle repaired here. It was a Statefarm Authorized Body Shop. At first when i first went there to get a estimate the representative was nice, cordial and friendly. I emphasized certain things I wanted to ensure be checked out on the car to ensure the car was safe. Upon the car being finished, the representative called me and said the car was ready. I got to the body shop, the car had mis-matched hubcaps on it, scarring from the accident was still on the door handle of the car and the mudguard on the car still had the same damage from the accident. The guy said no problem they'd fix it. The next day I called him to let him know that I really needed to drive the car to make sure it still drove the way it did prior to the accident I was involved in, when i got to the body shop, he had a very nasty attitude and told me it was coming up to the Thanksgiving holiday and many of their technicians were out (thats not my problem is what I was thinking), then he said what if I got in another accident on the test drive and I hadnt yet paid my 500 dollar deductible. I said "sir are you serious, Statefarm is paying you 4000 dollars to fix this car, what is 500.00 and me ensuring my car is fixed properly. As for me, I wouldn't recommend this shop, i'd always had good customer service with collision revision, but just figurd i'd take my car to someone who actually see's a lot of Nissan's. Case in point, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and poor body work in my opinion.
      - 9/18/2013 - For the record - Ed Seratt does not own this body shop and has not been affiliated with it for several years. The owner is Neil Gerald and GM is Donna Lawler who I suggest you take your complaints to. Joe Workman is the body shop manager. Get your facts straight.
